How much fuel is in your tank?,I haven't done the In-Tank mods just yet,at a quarter tank or less,my engine sounds like it's coming apart at the seams.

Oil in the valley sounds like a blown HPOP and/or turbo pedestal O-ring(s)... sop up he oil in the valley pan and then watch which end of the valley the oil fills up from. If it fills from the back, it's the turbo... from the front, it's the HPOP.

Quarter tank. I've always ran it longer than a quarter tank and never had a problem. I'm not really worried about the oil at this point just want to fix the noise. Also can someone message a mod and get them to remove the link in my earlier post. My computer crashed and do did the other guys after downloading it. No clue why or if it was a coincidence I just don't want it to happen to anyone else. My phone won't allow me to edit it and remove it.

Right, but blown O-rings will cause you to leak enough oil that it'll look like it went somewhere. When I blew my HPOP O-rings, I watched my oil drop from the MAX to the MIN line on my dipstick (I always try to fill the truck up to the MAX line). On top of that, the leak made a mess of my undercarriage. Now that it's fixed and I degreased the whole truck, it's dry as a bone and it's staying that way! You really might want to check into it... you'll loose performance as well. Could be the reason for the noise... I know when i was working the air outta the oil lines, the motor sounded alot different, but I might be following the wrong trail with this last sentence here. I'm stumped...

Ok I'm gonna order them today and try replacing them. I was just seeing if they were from parker as I work for them and usually have a few orings laying around in the office.

You should try to figure out if it's coming from the HPOP and/or turbo pedestal first. Unless you want to rule both out so you won't have to go back into the truck later on, then it's really not necessary to do both if only one is leaking. Also, if you've lost that much oil, then you'd have oil running down the back of the engine since the valley pan filled up. On my truck, I went from the Max to the Min line and by then, the whole back of my engine and the underneath of my truck were soaked. So, check that out... but oil in the valley means you have leaking O-rings, however, it may not be the main source of your consumption. Either way, they should be fixed... also, a wet/oily engine is no fun to work on either. When I was done with my O-ring job, I degreased the whole engine and undercarriage and man, it sure is nice to be able to fool with my motor and not have my hands come out covered in grease!

Well after doing research for about 6 hours last night and replacing the belt tensioner I am now 99% sure of my problem. It seems like I most likely have a busted flywheel and possibly a bad TC. I crawled under and took of the inspection cover and inspected the flywheel on both side and it seems like where the crank is has slightly shifted and enlarged a couple holes.

I am now just waiting on partsguyed to respond to my message and hopefully by Friday I will be taking the transmission out and replacing parts. Anyone in the Memphis area is more than welcome to come help.
