So ignoring my better judgement, and the winter storm warning, I decided to rally the pup and a lady and head out into the wilderness to see how much snow the Rocky Mountains were getting... at dusk... We were breaking fresh 6 to 12 inches in different spots... super fun!! Sorry for the cell phone quality pics.. just thought I'd share
BTW... Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs are phenomenal tires!!!
Man, The snow is in your head! Its still summer here in Colorado! It was a warm 50 degrees at my work in Parker at 3pm. Where in the Rockies did ya go?
Very nice! Can't wait, it's getting really cold up here, weather man is threatening we're going to get snow and people are getting slow and stupid on the road!
That's the best! I love wheelin in the snow. Funny you mentioned your tires, cause that's the first thing I checked out when I scrolled past that picture. They look like a good snow tire.

24 inches in the mountains by Wednesday. Summer..in some places in Colorado.
Awesome.... I'm ready for the snow, of course most likely it will be a while before we see snow.. But i'd rather shovel snow that clean up frigging leaves any day , especially since 75% of the leaves in my yard are my neighbors !! Of course, i'm sure this post will come back to haunt me later.. ohhh maybe January or February if I have 3 foot of heavy wet snow on my roof again...

Based on that, snow covering ice and mud, its best tire I have had in the snow by a long shot... you can still get them sliding though, but the traction is definitely there when you need it.

I am very aware of the difference, but, In snow like that, when you haven't seen another truck or person for about 10 or 15 miles, and you get stuck, the woods quickly become the wilderness. But yes, the woods would be a better term for that trip.

I am 100% sold on them. I have about 15000 miles on them, and they still are quiet (for that aggressive of a tire), I think they at about half tread, obviously they handle snow and ice extremely well, There prowess is unbelievable in the rain, and they work great on dry pavement too. The onl change I am going to make is upsizing to 35s
