can i throw a holley 600 cfm carb on my stock manifold if i get the adaptor plate? i have a 351M and is it electric choke? any help would be great thanks!!
Do you have the stock two barrel intake. I am guessing so. I would look for a 500 cfm holley two barrel, and then get a set of headers, and a timing chain to put the cam back up 4*. This should make a big differance. And as far as the requirements of a 351m, you need to use a carb calculator to be for sure, but a 600 would only be good if you get into higher than stock rpms. With the head design and such, a 600 could be not enough if you build it for power. Best option is to get a 400 crank and do the stuff mentioned above.
