Hey everybody, I had a little problem this morning- my exhaust fell off. sombody did a crappy welding job when they cut off the Cat. It completely broke off just behind the Y of the stock pipe so there is about 2 feet of pipe on the short side behind the manifold. Should I worry about warping my valves as I might have to drive it for a couple of days before I fix it. It's loud, but I live in the middle of nowhere. It's only gotten down to about 40 degrees. Thanks
Well Billy:
I run open headers on my pull truck all the time I never gave it a thought about warping a valve... Just how does that happen anyway???
But I'd take a trip down to your local muffler place and have them weld up a new system for you..Just to save you a ticket for loud exhaust.Even thou you live out in the boonies tomarrow will be the day the cops are sitting looking for loud trucks.
I have one place up here that whatever he puts on your car or truck is guaranteed for as long as you own it ..
