fellas I hate to be a buzz kill but we tried this one time before and could not use the blue oval or the name Ford in script as these are registered trade marks of Ford. Scott you may want to check with George.

How but the Shape of NC, with FTE or something in it.
I like driximus' idea...

1. The outline of the State of NC
2. "NC Chapter" written on TOP of the outline.
3. "FTE" written in the BODY of the outline.
4. Colors - "Ford Blue" body and "White" NC Chapter & FTE letters or visa versa.

Here is a pic I found as a starting point.

Here's the guideline:https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...-1-2008-a.html

8. Images and Logos: Any images, logos or printed material used to identify or promote your chapter must first be approved by FTE staff.
"Staff" as used here means FTE Administration. Scott can post the image in the chapter leader forum where admin can get a look at it and let you know one way or the other.

If you take the time to contact Ford's trademark division with your design, they have been known to allow truck clubs/chapters to use of some of their copyrighted/trademarked designs.

NJ chapter of FTE went through the process and got Ford's approval for their design. BUT each chapter must still get their own permission from Ford.

Without that permission from Ford, FTE will not approve your design.

Such a shame these stickers are going to waste. Oh well. If anyone wants one of these unofficial stickers before they go in the trash send me an e-mail through the site. I'm giving them away.

**They are not official FTE chapter stickers**

**Just to clarify; These are not official FTE approved stickers** They are some old junk I'm clearing out.

Sorry for the poor photos. Stickers look really nice and are high quality.

I've contacted Ford Licensing to get approval for the chapter sticker design. I hope to hear back soon. I'll update as I know more.

I have been in contact with the good people of FoMoCo. We have been able to come to an agreement on design. I will have a new and slightly modified version very soon. I will have the sample approved in the next few days, hopefully. Then, if approved, I will have the stickers printed and cut and ready for delivery. Fingers crossed.

FYI:
The outline of the state was on the preliminary design board as were a few other versions. The oval seemed to read better and got better feedback from some other friends who are designers. As well it seemed the oval was the top choice of the chapter forum at the time. Thus we have the current design and I plan to move forward with it.

I plan to create a few new designs in the future, pending approval. (including a state outline) But for now this first batch will get us going. We can make some changes at a later date. Or eventually, have a selection to choose from.
