First; I'd like to thank everyone for their patience during the process.

Second; After several attempts to get the sticker "just right" per Ford Branding, I have decided to drop the current design. It seems as though no matter what I came up with there was always something that wasn't to their satisfaction. (I still have some un-official stickers available for free.) I have recieved a lot of positive feedback about the design and quality of the current stickers. Just a shame that an agreement couldn't be made.

Third; I am currently working on a new design that will not include any Ford branding. I have read through the logo thread and listened to the ideas of other members. I should have a new preliminary design soon. Since the new design will not include any ford branding I hope that it will be accepted and approved by the moderators and site owners. Fingers crossed.

Last; I still plan to make these new stickers free to all NC Chapter members. This is not a money making deal for me. Matter of fact I'm spending my own cash to make this happen. I've already funded the first run of stickers. I'm not a store. Just a chapter member that wants to do something for fun that other members can enjoy as well.

Agreed, Thanks so much for your dedication and accept my apologies for not being around much. Who would have thought twin babies would be so much work? LOL Anyhow, If you accept paypal I would insist on helping out with costs of the stickers and your time.

Just a preliminary design. I was trying to take several ideas from the group. This is not a final. Looking for tweaks, more ideas, likes, and dislikes. I know it won't please everyone. We can change it around. Some of the text looks grainy. Certainly won't look that way when finished. You can ask some folks with the original, non-official stickers. The final product will be nice.

It's been super busy around the house and office. Kids are way excited and we still have much to do.

I'll check back in when I get a chance and see what folks think.

The design looks good but there is a lot going on... what size do you plan to make the logo? My concern would be that the viewer would not be able to read the logo from a distance of 5 feet or greater. I'm no expert nor do I have the tools (software) to do a proper logo but here is what I did using Photobucket.com. I would like to change the font, play with the color, and add a silver rim around the state for a 3-D effect but those options were not available to me. What do you think?

Well, I was hoping to get more feedback and waited but it seems we only have a few interested.

I tried to put together something that had ideas from other members input. I had hoped we could clean it up a bit with some input. I like the updated logo but think it's too busy. I also think a simple outline and the web address is too plain.

I have an idea for another design that I'm going to try to put together this week. I'll post it up and we can go from there.

 

Hope you can come up with something everyone likes.

I developed a good design but could not reproduce it well enough on the puter for yall to check out. I'm having it designed and will have a proof soon. I think it's going to be a winner. Simple, readable, chapter info, web address, and state outline.
