Hey guys, i have an 83 F100 300 I6, unfortunatly my shift collar broke and its the old 3 speed on the tree, the part is being pretty tough to find but im curious, could i use a bronco's collar on my truck, i've never owned a bronc so im not sure if the collar is the same or not. but if it is i know where a couple of them are... i don't really want to put it on the floor i'd appreciate any ideas or comments.

The bronco collar for three on the tree is the same.

1980-1987 F-150 and Bronco share the same collar. 3 on tree.

 

Okay thanks, one more thing this is the only one i've driven so would a tilt wheel collar and a collar off of a column w/o tilt be able to be changed out??

 

No, those are different.

I don't have a listing for a tilt column with three on the tree anyway. But that is not definitive.

 

okay, lmc has a shift collar with mt beside it for manual transmission thats why i asked i wasnt sure
