Find a good window installer and pay him $5.00 to re-glue your mirror button back on. They use much better adhesive than the little kits you buy at auto parts stores.
Talk about luck, I was at the Ford Service desk wanting to buy some "OEM" glue, they didn't have it. In walks a window installer (driving a 1999 F-250 Powerstroke Diesel; I'm not making this up). He says he'll glue it up for $5.00.
Well of course I drive to his shop (this is in Bartlesville OK), he asks me where I want it, thens cleans the area with a special prep, then glues it. Two years, later it's solid as a rock! $5.00!
