TRANSMISSION UPGRADE QUESTION
I looked for a previous thread asking this question because I am sure it has been on here before, but I didn't find it so I am going to ask! does anybody know if the new six speed transmission used in the new f150's, I think its 6R75, would bolt into an older (2004) f150 in place of the 4r75w? They both have three valve tritons turning them so I don't see why they would be that much different. I imagine I would have to do a computer reprogram but that wouldn’t be that hard.
