GPCM P0683
Check Engine light has been on and the only code I am pulling is a P0683. I plan on pulling the connectors to the GPCM this week to check for shorts. I just want to make sure that if the plugs for the GPCM are ok that I will need to replace the GPCM or could something else be wrong. Truck fires up and runs good, but it has not been very cold around here at all. I was thinking I could wait another month before doing this since it does not get very cold down here. Could I be doing any more damage to the vehicle by not replacing this ASAP? I have also reset the codes twice (once with battery disconnect and lights on and once with a code scanner) and the light stayed off for a little bit, but then came back.
