How does this underhood light mount?

How does this underhood light mount?
Can someone tell me how this mounts or take a picture of their under hood light for me? I got one at a JY last week and forgot to take a picture of it before I took it off.
and what is this part and how does it mount?
My shop manual only shows the retractable light for my year truck ('85). Also, what type bulb does this one take (there wasn't one in it)? I'm sure that it came off of a newer year than mine (maybe an '87-'91).

I can't give you any definite answers, but as long as you mount it to one of the support members and make sure it's not going to hit anything it should be just fine. The part in the bottom picture looks like the bracket and socket for the bulb. What's throwing me is why there's 2 plugs on it instead of one.

The part on the right with the bracket on it is the mercury switch and the part on the left is the lamp socket. The part on the right has to be mounted in such a way that the light is off when the hood is closed and the light is on when the hood is open. And that black wire with the ring terminal on the end has to be grounded. The newer under hood lamps have both in one. By newer I mean 92-96.
