Front End or Brake Problem????
I have a 94 Ranger 2.3L Recently I was getting a scrapping and thumping noise from the front drivers side. I replaced calipers,pads,rotors,shoes,wheel bearings. The truck was fine for a day and now the thumping has come back. Seems to come when I let off the throttle! Any suggetions!

i had the same exact problem with my 94 3.0 4wd, i originally thought it was the hubs, but it turns out that the u-joints on the front axle shafts were worn, im not sure how often yours does it, but mine was after 3mph, till i slow down, both left and right turns, and sometimes in 4WD, id take the wheel off and check your u-joints on both sides, i had mine replaced and i have no regrets!!
