Has anyone ever......

...converted the rear side windows of a Supercab to ones that open? I'm curious if it can be done and how much it costs.

Find parts in a junk yard from a Supercab with tip out back windows and they will bolt right in.

Thanks for asking that question, I've beent hinking of doing that to. Will it work for all years? I haven't seen any gen 2's with pop out windows.

Has anyone ever......

As I look at the windows from the inside the "alcove", for lack of a proper term, are narrower than the window and recessed quite a bit. I don't see where the hinge for the popout mechanism can be attached. It would have to be on the sidewall of the alcove which I've never seen a popout mechanism do. Is this clear?
I'd like to hear from someone that's done it so they can provide clear directions and pitfalls of the conversion.
