Top 10 Reasons We HATE Shopping for Ford Trucks Online
Shopping for Ford trucks online is a demoralizing experience that leaves us questioning the competence of far too many people who may or may not actually be selling trucks.
If you suffer from being a life-long car and truck guy like me, you’ve probably spent your fair share of your free time cruising classifieds for your next project or just something fun to drive around. Regardless, searching for new and used Ford trucks online at places like Facebook, Craiglist, eBay and even more reputable places like Cars.com and Truecar.com comes riddled with annoyances, large and small. (Thank God for Autotempest, which simplifies much of the process.)
Sometimes it’s honest mistakes or folks having technology troubles. We’ve all been there. But far too many of these annoyances are caused by people who put zero effort into accurately describing and photographing their Ford trucks when attempting the sell them. And the worst offenders are clearly overtly-malicious. Therefore, hereĀ are the top 10 reasons we HATE shopping for Ford trucks online.
Lazy, Incomplete Listings
Some online sellers think it’s enough to post a truck for sale, but only include one photo of a fender and no pertinent information. What engine does it have? How many miles? VIN? Condition? Does it run? Maybe most of these folks don’t actually want to sell their truck, but mayhaps they should invest more than 27 seconds in the listing and actually tell prospective buyers about it. And along those lines, TELL THE TRUTH. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
