New F-150 Raptors aren’t being produced, since the entire plant is now making 2015 models. Even though the Rouge plant won’t be churning out new Raptors until the 2017 model year, that truck is going to be dramatically different than the past.
When the 2017 Raptor debuted back at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit last January, it made its appearance as an extended-cab with a 5.5′ short bed. Since we know that the Raptor will be available as either a SuperCrew or SuperCab, we also wondered if there’d be additional bed size options for the new truck.
Rejoice, Ford Raptor fans! Today at the 2015 New York International Auto Show, Ford finally decided to cave and give the fans what they want; a V8-powered 2017 Raptor! Woohoo!
Last year, “The Tonight Show” host and New Yorker Jimmy Fallon announced he wanted to get a new Ford F-150. A full-size truck can’t be easy to own in and drive through such a congested city, but one the size of a Power Wheels should be a cinch, right? Not exactly.
