Junkyard-bound ’41 Ford Undergoes Amazing Transformation
Judging by the many pictures and info the OP shared, this 1941 Ford was one heck of a project. And we can also tell that the OP is one heck of a talented guy.
“The inner braces were just sheetmetal and rotted. I replaced the braces with 1 1/2″ square tube and reinforced the door post with 1/8″ plate so that I could fasten my shoulder belt half way between the door and window. The square tube goes all the way down to the frame to make a kind of roll bar. I fabricated the floor and the removable motor side covers out of 16 gauge sheet metal. The rusty one is original that is also removable.”
Talk about an amazing transformation. Be sure and check out this 1941 Ford build in its entirety by heading over here!
