This 1976 Ford F-100 is as Good Looking as It is Dependable
Who doesn’t love a classic Ford truck? They are the perfect example of a strong and dependable American pickup. Some would say these vintage rides are even better than a modern day truck. Let’s take a quick walk down memory lane by stepping inside this 1976 Ford F-100 posted by our friends at Bring a Trailer.
This beauty was stored somewhere in an Arkansas barn from 1980-2008 by its original owner until it was sold as part of an estate sale, to a second owner who immediately flipped it. Since then the truck has been stored and driven a total of 68k miles by it’s most recent owner who has kept all of it’s records since 2008.
With all original paint, aside from the hood, the traditional body lines remain stock. The split-grille design was updated in 1976 to give it a more refined look.
Some of the modifications include – an Edelebrock carburetor and Offenhauser intake manifold, have been installed to give the truck a modern and up-to-date performance. According to the seller, the truck has been refreshed throughout, and is described as a strong daily driver that can tackle highways and backroads alike.
Perhaps this bad boy is worth taking a trip down to the tech capital – Cupertino, California.
