Buy This One-Owner 1968 Ford Bronco Before It’s Too Late!
With Bronco prices skyrocketing, one mustn’t think twice to pull the trigger.
Using the word “survivor” to describe an original, untouched vintage vehicle is a little played out these days. But, if there’s an old Ford truck that deserves that somewhat overused one-word description, it’s this 1968 Bronco. We spotted the charming little off-roader while perusing the Los Angeles area Craigslist, and as you can see it deserves serious consideration.
This yellow and white ’68 is said to be a one-owner truck. Another major selling point is that it’s (allegedly) rust-free, which is a rarity in itself with first-gen Broncos. The seller also states that everything works properly, including the vacuum-powered wipers, radio, and other electronics. The original 289 block and 3-speed combo remains, as do the original hub caps. The presence of stock stickers and inner fender paint make us believe it’s an original paint job.
One interesting tidbit that sets this ’68 U15 Bronco apart from most, is that it was ordered with the U14 half-cab bulkhead and bench seat. Most U15 Broncos came with the standard bucket seats. If accurate, that’s so rare that even we hadn’t come across it before.
While the seller might be stretching the truth a bit by claiming that this is “quite literally the nicest surviving garage kept Bronco you will find,” it’s a pretty good deal at the $24,000 asking price. As we’ve shared with you before, Bronco prices are skyrocketing, and a this rust-free, original, and running example is worth every penny of the asking price!
