Purple Vinyl Wrapped Truck Is A Big-Tire Lifted Eye Catcher
Saturate yourself in the deep purple color of this lifted F-150.
Work trucks are often used and abused, ridden hard and put away wet. But again, its a work truck, so a scratch or dent here and there is a battle scare and a badge of honor. The purple truck you see here is also a work truck. Believe us, it is. It’s the shop truck for Wrap-Tastic and if there’s any way to show off your business, a big purple F-150 is an excellent way to do it.
Starting off as a black F-150, this 5.0 was wrapped in the eye catching hue of purple. Black accents offset the purple. The rims are black and are 22×14’s, trim is black as well, and even the windows are tinted so dark that they too look black. Of course, for more attention, it sits atop a lift as well.
We think wrapped vehicles are actually quite cool, because the process allows you to change the color of your ride as much as you want. As opposed to painting, a wrap adds a layer of protection to the original paint too. Or if you do have a work truck that is more utility than flashy, company logos can be on a wrap.
In the world of social media, the truck color is incredibly effective. While it’s not everyone’s favorite color, the purple truck is very photogenic. Add an instagram hashtag, and next thing you know, Wrap-Tastic’s shop truck is a very effective marketing tool. Veygo has reported on popular cars on Instagram, and the numbers are staggering, especially for Fords. After all, it did catch our attention pretty effectively.
Of course, the cool thing about wraps is they offer a variety of colors and finishes that were never offered from the factory and are painfully expensive to reproduce with paint. Find a good shop that performs this work and you can choose any color you want. You can also pick any finish, from gloss to matte to satin to chrome. Bang up a panel? Just re-wrap it!
Considering all the cool options for a wrap, we want to hear from our forum members. What’s the coolest wrap job you have ever seen on a ride?
