FWIW, my 2010 F250 came with valve stem TPMS modules.

I bought a used 2008 SD---had the light on in the cluster---took to tire shop and they checked them----said there were no TPMS sensors in any of the tires----I got 4 new Motorcraft sensor from Amazon---installed and had programed, corrected everything---I had the band type, and I remember I had to use the tire size to order them---they are color coded for each size of tire--mine had 17" wheels. If you had the bands, I'd try the original sensors on the new wheels. You can order the bands, but they are priced quite high for what they are. Good luck! This crap is so sensitive to size and pressure that I decided to stick with the original wheels. Researched trying to do away with them----found no sure thing that would work---read everything I could on the subject.
