If your light doesn't come on then you're good. If it does and you need to train, there is a thread or 2 about, if you search.
No light so far..
Yup, found many threads on the steps to train. Read the owner's manual too. Simple enough to do. Time will tell if I have to train them. I know how to use a tire gauge, so I'm good for now.
I did the the same thing as you this past weekend. I put the 20 inch rims on from a 2011 F-350 after about 50 miles I got a TPMS Fault. I have not tried to re-train the sensor yet, but I did set the tires at 75PSI (which is the same pressure I ran the 17 inch wheels at as well.)
The wheels/tires only had 5k miles on them so the original TPMS sensors are there. I'm going to try the re-learn process today.
Do not assume the TPMS sensors are there. I did, and found out the guy lied about them still being in the wheels.
Keep in mind too, that there are two different procedures:
1. to re-train the truck & sensors due to tire rotation
2. to re-learn the 'new' sensors you just installed.
I just tried to run through the process that involves popping the hazards on/off three times. It seems the 2012/2014 procedure is different, I'm having trouble finding the right procedure for the 2014 RETRAIN mode.

I believe that is the wrong process. The one you need involves key on brake pedal, key off, brake pedal type of sequence. Not sure the exact set of steps.
The one you did is for tire rotation with sensors known by your truck.
I think the 2011 F-350 must have just not come with TPMS sensors. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.... I ran the truck around the neighborhood for 10 minutes to get the sensors "active" then tried to drain the tire 10lbs while in "Train" mode. You can see the error message after the training times out says "Train".
Unless this procedure requires the little TPMS programmer that Ford uses?

I still say if you are following the key on hazard switch on/off three times, you are using the incorrect procedure. This is for when you rotate the tires.
There is a different procedure for teaching your truck to see the new sensors. It involves the key on off and brake pedal push sequence.
Then you can use the little remote from ford to synch the new sensor to your truck.
