I had my computer go out in my 95 f250 5.0 E40D 2WD truck. I installed a ecm with a different part # from a 95 f150 5.0 E40D 4X4 truck i figured since they had the same year/engine/trans id be okay. the engine is now running like a champ but the trans is slamming from first to third and the light is flashing. the 4X4 ecm has a extra chip installed into the back of it and my old ecm has a cover plate in that spot how can i fix my problem?
