Torqshift Trans Problem

I just hit 70K this morning while running an errand and the tow/haul light started flashing and the vehicle went into "limp" mode. I have returned the vehicle to the stock programming and disconnected the battery for about 20 minutes and then roadtested and the problem still exists. I pulled these codes from the ECM; P0752 Shift solenoid A stuck, P1000 OBDII Test incomplete and P2700 Transmission friction element A apply time range/performance.

I am assuming that I have a stuck solenoid based on this information but cannot find information on the repair process nor any information as to whether the P2700 code is related to the first but do assume so.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

The solenoid is in the pan. I don't have the shop manual info to send you.
The friction element code set because of the solenoid problem. Don't worry about that code.

Mark,

Thanks for the response. I am curious as to where to find which of the solenoids in the pan is solenoid "a" though. I have searched quite a bit and through many forums yet still unable to find a diagram as to which is solenoid "a". Just another question, should the transmission be flushed before or after the solenoid is replaced or both?

I don't have a diagram to show you.
The trans should be flushed every 30k miles. It doesn't matter if you do it before or after the solenoid change.

Well, Replaced Coast Solenoid "A" today and flushed the transmission and replaced internal and remote filters and low and behold problem came back within 20 miles.....Is it possible based on the code p0752 coast solenoid "a" stuck....that there is debris in the solenoid body that I am unable to detect or a burr that has occurred in the solenoid shaft bore that that may be causing this to hang up?....BTW fluid still bright red, smelled good and only normal wear and tear found in pan....

This problem is still plaguing me. I have replaced the solenoid with known good parts, flushed the transmission twice, replaced solenoid body and reflashed the PCM....WTH?....I need Help!....The tow-haul lamp comes on and flashes and gives all same codes....

Update, Well today I found out there is an electronic fault in the PCM that was caused by my Bully Dog Programmer when I returned to the factory tuning last Friday....I could have never thought that would be the problem but the new PCM will be in on Monday and we will see how it goes....

how was it determined that the down loader caused this?

I tried to download the programming again to see if it might put back in what it may have taken out and it came up with a message that stated the downloader needed to be updated before could install. I updated the downloader and still came up with the same message when attempting it again. I called the customer service line at B/D and they immediately said the downloader needed repair and that it could have corrupted the pcm as well. So now what I have is a glorified basic code reader....
