I know it is early to some, but it is time to get things in order for snowplowing season. And since I was completely changing plows this year I would much rather do as much work as possible when the weather is nice. This is my new to me plow and salt spreader. I cant wait to push some snow. It sags a little too much in the front so I will be putting X code springs on before winter. What do you guys think? The second pic is the truck that I installed my old meyer on and my new western. We did a straight up swap, and I got the salt spreader for installing the plow on his truck.
I'm curious why the other guy wanted a straight blade? It is wider than the V though..
You never know when the snow is going to hit so being prepared early is definitely the way to go! Once October hits there could be a foot of snow on the ground... Its happened here in Ohio (not recently) and I am sure it has happened there too.
Man that Wetern Mount looks low to the Ground,,like maybe 4",,,need some lift,,,looks like it wont make it over a Curb ??,,,,Being all Ready for Snow,,is a Good Thing !

Both, the guy plows a apartment complex and says the V was to much for what he needed, and the Meyer is wider, it has a set of pro wings that make it a 10'3" blade.

Yep it is low, that is why I am going to upgrade to the X code springs up front.

They're heavy ***** to start with. Factor in non plow prep'ers and you got problems. I think that Uni V is somewhere around 850+ lbs.
I know there Heavy,,,I push a 9' Fisher MM, with my 06' F-350,,with a New cutting edge on it,,, there in the Vicinity of 900 lbs,,,the extra 1-1/2" of front leveling lift would Help alot !!
i'm getting my plow truck all ready for winter also, just had a bunch of work done, getting some spring work and an alignment done within the week also.
we should be seeing snow early-mis october unless its a odd year, somtimes it can be as early as sept!
