Did everyone bend over the metal tabs that are located top and bottom of windshield, under the rubber gasket. I'm leery of doing it, but the rubber puckers and will probably leak ?

I believe folks are recommending that you cut them out.

There's lots of threads about windshield installation. Use the advanced search and be sure to put "Quotation Marks" around the words "windshield installation"

 

Another vote for Covercraft here... I use them in all of my vehicles. Very highly recommended!
