That would be great if the TFT can be replaced. Everything I have read or been told by good E4OD experts is to replace the solenoid pack. Let us know what you find!
One other note: it could be build up on the connector to the solenoid pack. 100K ohms equals roughly 32 degrees Fahrenheit. If you have a large resistance built up that could be part of the problem. Sidenote: 230 degrees equals ~ 1.5K ohms.

There was a thread about this some time ago. You have to buy the whole solenoid block. However one of the posters to the thread was a professional trans builder and he said he often takes a temp sensor from an otherwise bad block and fits it into a good block to replace a bad sensor.
Have searched but can`t find it.
I would think that checking the wiring connections is a good idea.

just the temp sensor some of the other soleniods were bad
Transmission Oil Temperature sensor TOT Sensor; this is from a pal at Ford;
"...Once you remove the pan locate the sensor in the valve body and remove the electrical connector very carefully. The sensor is about the size of a pen cap. To remove the sensor carefully unlock the stop tab and twist it, pull down to remove it. It comes out before a full quarter turn is made. Put it back in the reverse order. When you get the sensor to come out be prepared to catch the trans fluid that follows behind it, you will get less than a quart out of it
