Its been a while since I replaced my mirror so I'm not sure who made it but kool vue does sound familiar. It fit great, looks exactly like the original and no problems so far. Anyone out there have a line on the power sliding back glass motor/cables?

I found them all over the net but got this one for $166! NEW! looks and fit great, check it out....look for 08's for you but dosent look like they have them.

Do you know who makes those mirrors they sell and more importantly have you been happy with them?

That is the best price by far I have seen for a set of signal mirrors. I hate not having the lights on my '02 and despite everyones enthusiasm for the 2008+ mirrors, I DO NOT like the looks of them... Way too square and blocky for my taste as well as the main mirror actually being smaller in size. I love the look and function of my towing mirrors, but I just need the lights in them.

I've been looking on Ebay for some take-off OEM mirrors but every time I find a set they want your first born for a scratched up used set.

Just as a Follow up to my post back in October.

I ordered a set of the power/heated/signal/marker, manual fold/telescope mirrors from the site listed above listed to fit a 2006 F-350 for my 2002.

I don't know what brand they actually are, but I would recommend them in an instant. After 4 months of having them I am not disappointed in their look or performance in any way, very nice units. The only times I have had them exhibit excessive shaking is doing 70 on a bumpy stretch of freeway going into a 40 mph headwind, other than that, they are about as solid holding as the stockers were I'd buy them from that site again in an instant!

My 02 did have the rectangular plug that matches up to the newer style, but it did not have the additional wires for signal and heat, I spliced into the new mirror wiring to preserve the integrity of my factory pigtails and ran flat 4-wire trailer wire (color coded and labeled) to make my connections clean and easy to pull through the cab grommets, not too hard of a job if you just pop out the rubber boots on one end to help get the wire into the cab without doing it blind.
