Instead of using my iPod is it possible to listen to playlist set up in iTunes via a jump drive? How do I go about exporting or setting that up on the drive? Many thanks!
You did indeed, sir. Didn't think I'd get such a quick reply on the stereo subforums. You also entered my waxing a new vehicle too. My tab has maxed out with shotgunz tonight!
Amen to the Cowboys! It's hell living here in Giants country and related to "Igle" fans. Have you any experience using one of those newer USB portable drives. A jump drive might be too small but I worry about a hard drive cooking in the cab's heat in summer.
It's not just the heat, it's also the cold (may not spin up). There's been several posts on syncmyride about people having trouble with them now that it's cold.
I have a 16GB with 1700 MP3s (256k variable bps bit rate, high quality) and I still have room on it. I'm pretty sure you can get even larger flash drives, but if 16GB isn't large enough, you might want to consider getting two.
I put my flash drive in the glove box and connected it to USB2.
