I'll bet because I have the center console with captains chairs that has something to do with it.

Now I need to work on the mounting as I am not going to put it up on the dash.
Post pictures when you figure it out. I've been looking at that too and I don't want it on my dash either, but I think that under the upfitter switches it too low for a quick glance and there might not be enough room to tilt it up to see from the driver's seat.

I have the KR captains chairs and the center console with integrated cup holders and I do have two more in the dash under the switches.

interesting, then I guess mine was just ordered without the option of the cup holders.

right now I have adhesive back plate right smack in the center of that area and my Tom Tom has a mount with suction cup that is adjustable with angles so I can turn it up and an angle to face me. Works for me!

here is the device that I am using:

that is another possiblity. no moon roof and I have the same overhead as you. I'll bet that I could take that sunglass case and modify it to fit the IQ and then when you park you could just flip it up.

This is what came with my Job1 King Ranch. I custom ordered it and I don't remember having this as an option to either have or delete.

Not that it really matters...if you dont have it you dont have it but now I am just curious. Do you have manual 4x4? I have been all over the web and the only pics I can find without the cup holders are manual trans and/or manual 4x4.

After my truck was broken into I had the front windows tinted to the legal limit which nearly matches the rear windows on the CrewCab. The tint combined with covering up things that are firmly installed make it impossible to see what's inside and therefore wiping out 90% of the threat of being broken into. Very few out there smash windows just to see if anything is there to take. If the see something, then they will break in.

I usually park under lights at hotels and ask the front desk if they have cameras and night security. They always want me to park my truck and trailer in the back but I refuse. I get on the side or in front under the lights. Other hotel guests usually get pissed at me but I never park in the first row, they just hate the 6 parking spaces I consume.

so that must be the configuration when you get the manual 4x4 shifter I guess.

I think so, easy to remove to. I looked at putting it in the sun glass area. It did fit but you could not see the entire screen.
