Okay i have searched and searched with no luck on drop axles
1950 ford F1 239 v8
I just got through flipping my rear axle and taking out everyother leaf spring in the rear. I got the rear of the truck were I want it. The running board is about 4 inches off the ground in the rear. Ok my question is with a 3 inch front drop axle and every other leaf out in the front where should that put me as far as lowered inches in the front?
Does anyone have before and after pics with this type of setup Im doing?
Like I said I searched and searched and search with no good results.
BTW I have brand new leaf springs not the old ones.

Go back a few threads and you may find it. About 3:12 m.s t , thats the way you get most of this information , is look , don't wait for somebody to bring it to you. It took me 5 minutes to find that .

A 3" drop axle will give you exactly that; a 3" drop. The variable is your spring. There's no way to know if your stock spring has sagged some, or what the change in spring rate will be by altering your new spring pack, or where it will settle at. The only way to know what you have is by installing it, and hoping for the best.

Disregaurd this tire question. I shouldn't have responded to that post anyway. It was just asking for a bad response.
This shouldnt even matter in this situation anyway. I'm looking for max drop, With stock replacement springs. Without reverseing the eyes. I f I have the notch the frame thats fine.
Okay I have the drop axle at 3 inches lower. Now how much does it lower by taking everyother spring out with sag. These are new stock replacement springs.

As wayne pointed out it's hard to tell without just dropping a leaf or two out then look at it . your tie rod will need to be relocated most likely. No two trucks may be the same. engine size, what you have on the engine, air cond. ect. standard size radiator , aluminium radiator or big heavy oversize radiator counts up . less leaves mean weaker springs, takes less weight to push them down .
