Wheel Question

Is 5 x 139.7 the same as a 5 x 5.5?

I have a set of 16" wheels Id like to put on my 83, they are 5 x 5.5 and I'd like to put the new tires on them.

Yep. 139.7mm = 5.5 inches.

Since I'm a High School Math teacher I guess I'll have to throw in the obvious teacher answer....

Don't use a chart, or google. Learn how to do the conversion

25.4 mm = 1 inch

Ya never know where it will come in handy. If you know this one you can figure just about anything else out on the calculator on your phone, yea I'll let you use that one... but I'd do it my head just to show you how smart I am

lol, I was actually trying to put it into Google, but once there, I mistyped something and ended up getting a bunch of search results instead of the answer. :P

Interesting, I'll remember that.

Calculator schmalculator, I do all my math by hand. :P Or at least I try to as much as possible.
