bolt pattern

I am looking at some wheels for my truck which is a 1998 F-150 4x4 and the bolt pattern is 5x135mm, but I have been told by several people that they are the same as 5x5.5. Is this true? Id hate to order 5x5.5 and them not fit, I dont have any 5x5.5 wheels laying around to double check.Any help would be great.

Close but not the same. 5 x 135 only for these trucks. Good luck!

135mm/25.4=5.314 inches

3/16 of an inch off

Make sure the wheels you get are hub-centric and NOT lug-centric.

you need rims made for trucks after 1997 thru 2003. about 2004 they switched to 6 lugs, but still same 135 mm pattern.
