Anyone know the approximate weight of an unladen 1969 F-100 ?

 

3600-4000 lbs depending length, engine, tranny.

My lwb 66 FE C6 about 3800lbs.

You will need a scale slip for that-

 

they go by the weight on the door/on the book, not how much it really weighs... you shouldnt have to tell them they should know...

 

For what it's worth, I'm nearby in Burbank. I just bought and registered a '67 F100 longbed with a 352. It's registered commercial, but it only cost me $44. I was surprised.

 

The C.H.P. told me to get a weight ticket, take it to the D.M.V., pay the fees, swap the plates, have someone write off the fix- it ticket and I'll be on my merry way.
