When the Livewires first came out there was quite a few problems with them. Even though the Livewire is cool its not for me as I don't want the display where everyone can see it. Got the Scangauge for the gauges. The X3 can hold 3canned and 3 custom tunes now too. My Xcal2 only holds 3 tunes period which is no biggy cause the canned tunes are not so hot anyway. The canned tunes are really easy on the TQ lockup, Mikes custom tunes lock the converter and put more power to the ground.

 

I have the xcal 3 with custom tunes from troyer. The canned tunes were nice but once i received the custom tunes they were definitly worth the wait. There is an increase in mpgs but only if you can discipline your right foot. I am also running an air force one intake with a custom exaust. Huge difference in power and performance for a gas motor. No, i have not had it dynoed for actual numbers.
