Just loaded my tunes from 5star last night in a 2016 f250 6.2.
What a difference it makes in the truck just using the daily/tow tune. It drives like it should now.
Has anybody changed any of the settings that come with it...Idle settings? Shift settings? Not sure where they should be.
I changed the rev limit to 6150rpm. Default was 6250 rpm.

I run the tunes just as they are set by 5star. I just load them and go. I use 93 performance tune most of the time, and 91 perf/tow tune when towing.
You are correct compression does not change (though we will see variable compression at some point) but with a higher octane tune I would venture that the engine can run more advanced timing under load etc
Saving my $$$$ for this system....I can hardly wait...
You wont be disappointed.
I opted for just three 87 octane tunes. Cant justify buying premium gas.
The tuner works as advertised. I wished i bought one sooner.
I didnt think there would be a big difference. At least not like the change from a stock tune to the 87daily/tow tune. I like how it runs with that tune. To me its like a different truck.
I am reading all about these tunes and bought my new truck in May. I have no issues with the way mine runs but also don't have anything to compare it to.
What I am worried about is voiding my warranty and secondly longevity issues with the engine.
I am sure there are people on each side of the issue but would like to hear your thoughts on those two things.

I bought mine in mid April. I installed the tuner at about 12,000 miles. I have over 15,000 as of today. Ive been driving all over for work this year.
I couldnt imagine going back to stock now that i have a tune in it. There is no flat spot in the way the throttle works and it is an improvement in the way the trans shifts.
I dont know about the warranty part of it. Its not a radical tune like the diesels. You gain about 20 - 25 horse. Personally it shouldnt void the warranty any more that some other mods..like a lift, or bigger tires. Or how about adding a plow to your truck?
I dont really see this tuner doing major damage to the motor or trans.
I suspect voiding your warranty depends on the dealer, and on the issue needing repair. If the issue involves the drivetrain, they could refuse warranty coverage, whereas if it is something unrelated to motor or drivetrain, it might be covered.
