2005 headlight delay relay??

Is there a delay realy for the headlights? I used to turn the truck off and the lights would stay of for a few seconds afterwards. Now when I turn the key off they go off but the interrior light stays on. Is there a delay relay for this?

There is a relay, but it's the same relay that turns the headlights on, so we know that works. The delay off feature is controlled by the VSM microprocessor.

It's adjustable, so maybe it has just been inadvertently set to zero delay. The instructions for setting the delay can be found in your owners manual. Try adjusting it for whatever time delay you want. I've got mine at 45 seconds.

Let us know if you can't find the instructions.
