Where do I start....
Last night I changed the front diff fluid on the Nitro, changed the engine oil in the morning. Drove all over town looking for the right-sized U-bolts, but nobody had em , looks like I may have to order them in. Had Autozone charge and test my battery, came back and they said it was bubbling over and it was time to get it replaced. Bought a new battery and it turns over MUCH quicker now .
Polished it off this afternoon with installing the adjustable heavy-duty track bar on Heepie. Then after turning it around to back it into the garage I realized that I am DEFINATELY going to need to trim some fenders. I can't even turn the wheels half-way without eating my flares!

I tried to take a nap.. that didn't work out, so I got my lazy behind up, and went to Oreillys.. bought a new front wheel bearing assembly, then went over to see if I could give plasma, but they were closed, so I wandered home and tried to fix my sway bar disconnects.. to do it right, I am going to have to cut and reweld the mounts, but I think I found a combonation that will (Hopefully) work for now.
It sooooo drives more straight down the road with the front sway bar connected, and that isn't saying much, cause it still don't drive down the road straight on account of bump steer.

51 pages.. and I still love this thread.. WTG Kenny! I love to hear about what you guys are getting done, repaired, maintained on your trucks, cars, whatever..
I installed my new wheel bearing assembly today, I hadn't made up my mind I was going to do it till spring, till about 2 pm today, then it seemed like everything went wrong. I broke a wrench, then broke my socket, then my extension, but I was determined. Its a good thing I have duplicates of some of that stuff, because I was mostly torn down and didn't want to have to put it back together in order to go to the store to get new ones. For a while.. I was thinking it wasn't going to happen today, but dumb luck and a BFH were on my side.
Belle helped me do the project, (all the heavy lifting) and I took her to Sears to get my tools replaced, then to DQ for some Ice Cream to thank her for handing me wrenches. (although I suspicion that she slowed me down more than helped)

No work on the trucks this weekend, but we did go to Nebraska so the wife could order a headstone for her aunt who died back just before Christmas. We stayed with sister in law in Grand Island and the brother in law and I went to a car show at Fonner Park. Saw some great street rods and hot rods including one put together by Brights in Salina that is modeled after a hotwheels.
