The purchaser of this truck has the right of first refusal to purchase owner's restorable 1950 Ford F1 Pickup with flathead V8 for $1500. Solid truck comming out of long term storage. Nice cab and interior. Will require restoration. This truck could be a a good donor truck for the '48 Marmom-Herrington truck.
About Marmom-Herrington Conversions: One of the notable features of the the conversion is the front axle assembly, which utilizes constant velocity joints at both sides of the axel housing to provide power to the front wheels.

Absolutely worth having, but I hope the dealer means his "OBO" statement. Normally they're in pieces for a reason. Google says it's in Carnation, WA. It'd be an excellent opportunity for another lucky owner to get to know Chuck! Or maybe Chuck is himself a potential buyer.

Interesting truck but it would be nice to have a location of the truck so a person get an idea of what it would take to get it. I check you profile and saw you're located in WA, I would assume the truck is there too.

Second, this should have posted in the swap area. This board is reserved for technical questions and general truck stuff, although subjects aren't purely truck related all of the time.

Good luck on your sale of the truck. If it were closer, and times were better, I sure wouldn't mind taking a look at it. Petey, it does look tired but in the last few years I've seen regular ½ tons in the same condition with asking prices in the $2-3000, not that they got that much for them. M-H are like the big trucks, they are unique and interesting trucks but cost a lot more to restore, I know you know that but I think a lot of people junk into restorations without realizing the cost. A while back a member got a M-H Ranger for a really decent price. I would have like to jump on it but I knew I could never afford to the restoration right.

The above being said, Stu, I think you should take your trailer and pick this truck up the next time you go to visit your son.

That trailer needs to stay parked in the driveway, Bob.

Obviously rare but...

I'm sure you know all too well how rare these things are but then again you guys that are into them also know where to get the parts and what to pay for them. Aside from the 4WD part, if it were a regular 2WD I can't see them being worth over 1K each.

Transport costs are going to be high unless you happen to live where they are. However, I'm in that business and if one of you guys out there have that kind of cash to blow, you might as well pay me to bring 'em home to you. Of course that is a two trip deal.

Later Folks...

Marmon-Herrington - Low Cost Transport Available -USA & CAN

A couple folks mentioned cost of transporting the two Ford F1s I am selling. I work with a reliable, licensed bonded insured car transporter who can transport these trucks very affordably anywhere in USA or Canada.
I am open to offers on one or both of the trucks. Clear titles on both. If you have any questions, please email: gio@sprynet.com or call Jim at 425-985-4259. Thanks!
