Question 1954 Ford F-250 w/ Marmon-Herrington All Wheel Drive

Just got this truck from Wyoming. It has a 317 V-8, Marmon-Herrington All Wheel Drive conversion, and Bendix Hydrovac brake booster.
Does anyone have Marmon-Herrington literature that describes exactly what the scope of the conversion was? What manual should I be looking for to cover the stock Ford parts? Do any of the manuals explain what years have common parts? I need a seat, glass, rear axel (Timken), left front and right rear fenders.

check ebay for M-H literature, or do a search for auto literature and contact them directly. the seat, glass, and front fenders (for F250 and F-100) will be the same.
let us know when you post some pics, I'd like to see it!

There is a site that specializes in mh trucks. I think it was called chucks tucks, I can't find the adress, but you could google it. I know the conversion was pretty extensive and that it required you take the cab of and modify the fame, it's not like the napco one that took 2 hours.

Abe,

I'll take some digital shots. It's a cool truck.
For the seat, glass, fenders, etc., what years of F-100's and F-250's are common? Is it 1953-1956? Thanks.

CSimmons,

http://www.chuckstrucksllc.com/startframe.htm

I've been e-mailing Chuck questions and he has been helpful.

Regarding the M-H conversion: did M-H leave the stock Ford V-8, 4-speed, and rear axle alone during the conversion, adding only a transfer case and front axle? I'm trying to replace the rear (Timken) and it would be great to know if it is stock. Thanks.

Neil
