NEW MEMBER Introduction Thread (NO TECH QUESTIONS)
Hello Ya'll!!
I am a 2nd time 7.3 powerstroke owner. My first one was lost in the crash of 08. I am now the proud owner of a 2000 F350 7.3 litre diesel engine. 2wd extended cab Manual Transmission. I bought it to pull our camper with which it does very well. I have owned several Fords in the past mostly trucks but have owned F150 (93 and 97) Explorer (99), Expedition (97) and Excursion (00). Am I Enthusiastic about Fords? You be the judge.
I have made various repairs to all of them including but not limited too, power door locks(excursion and F350), Power window motor (F350), AC compressor replacement (explorer), 3rd and 4th door door latch repair (F350) and various oild changes on all! No major engine or tranny repairs to speak of because I know my limitations!
Thanks in advance for the info!

Newbie
I have been behind the scenes for awhile but it's time to come out. I currently have a 2009 f250 6.4 diesel bagged and chipped. But it's time for something new so I ordered a new 2017 diesel now the waiting begins. I mainly pull camper and boat sometimes together I hope new one will do as good as my old one.
Thanks for the note. Been very active guy over on the other Ford forums. It always hurts starting fresh at 0 posts!! Over on F150Forums I am up there a ways and have ability to message people and such. My big reason for joining over here is to help share my knowledge with your users too.
New Member. Hi All. I have a 1976 Grumman/Olson P400 with a 300 straight 6. Former Mercury News delivery truck. former owners install leveling jacks front and rear, and 2 dominion AC units. I use to be packed with Telcom equipment. (gave off lots of heat). Plan is to convert to weekend motor home.
hwelte791,
NICE. -The Grumman that I "converted" was about 15-16 feet long "behind the seats" = My new bride & I spent many a happy night "on the creek-bank" & at the beach camping in it.
(We built a "back porch" on the Step-Van, installed a double bed, propane refrigerator, porta-potty, carried folding chairs/table inside, a charcoal grill, etc.)
I pulled a 16' aluminum boat/trailer with it, too.
yours, satx
