92 F250 4x4 front axle type ???
Is the 4x4 twin I beam axle a Dana 50??? The parts store only shows dana 40 or dana 60Thanks for the responses

What size is the locking hub? If it is large like a Dana 60 it is a50. Smaller size is a 44.

On a '92 I'd think it would be a 50 regardless?

I think the D50 has the number "50" cast in to the lower part of the casting of the differential. Crawl under it and you should find it.

Mine does. I noticed it when I took my truck back apart. I pulled the diff off and welded me a drain plug in the housing.

Regular cab, probably a 44.
Extended or crew cab, probably a 50.
