Exclamation help trucks dead at dealer after CPS

took the truck inot the dealer for the CPS recal. Truck started great when it went in shop after they but CPS in it won't start. I went in checked all fuses and pulled the chip. Truck turns over and fires once but doesn't start. I think they screwed up the CPS but what should i look for because i think the mechanics ther are morons and don't have a clue about powerstrokes

didn't think to look at it. they said they put scanner on it and had a rpm signal. I'm 90% sure they f'd it up but want to know what else might have gone bad by chance. what would do if bad fuel pump or plugged filter?

See if they f'd up the pins in the connector, or maybe it came unplugged.

turns out they had a bad sensor in it. When I picked it up and went to pull out the truck stalled out in the middle of the road. After babying it back into dealer adn them looking at it they said the harness was shot. I don't see how they missed it not only when they put the first CPS in but when they put #2 in. I was hot I very well could have gotten in an accident because some "certified trained" MORRON couldn't look at the harness. Guess its just another eason not to go the the dealerships

Tell them you want to see the harness. I know dealerships and parts people are trying to cover their butts, and would bet this is whats going on. They dont come them a STEALERSHIP for nothing.
