Don't use Bosch Platinums. For some reason, the SOHC Triton engines don't run all that well with them.

But, since I have the 4.6L, I shouldn't have to worry about problems while removing the spark plugs, right?

No you should not have any problems removing your spark plugs from your 4.6 I would also recommend the motorcraft plugs.

PS. If you are ordering them online get them from Ed. They are excellent. Th!nk Parts Guy

(Like platinum, double platinum, Iridium, etc. ?)

Anyone ever buy their motorcrafts at Autozone?
if so, whats the part number from them?
Thats the only place in my neck of the woods that have them in stock..

Whats this special tool everyone is talkin about and any idea where the cheapest champion plug is 19 bucks a piece on the champion website
