The box/subframe only bolts to the outside frame rails at 4 points plus the two on the rear rollpan - not to any crossmembers. Not quite sure how to answer the question....

Do you need measurements from (where? end of frame?) to locate the mounting points?

Doe's anyone know if the 48 bed mounting is the same as Gwilkrrs 51 ??
I think I may be able to get the #'s he's looking for off a local 48.

I put an aftermarket 51-52 bed and rear fenders on my 48 F-3 shortened to F-1. As I recall there were only 8 holes to be concerned with where the bed to crossmember bolts go through the frame. Just weld the holes up and drill new ones, then you can place the bed exactly where you want it. I wanted a little more space between the bed and the cab on my truck so I didn't use the stock holes anyway. The cab had been rubbing against the front panel of an original bed at some point in the past and had sliced a hole in the back of the cab...
