I had to get the recall on the CPS done to be able to complete the import process.
Replaced a working one with over 200K on it with the new CPS. Hopefully it is a good one. The dealer wouldn't give me the old one back as a working spare.
You guys are scaring me with the failures though. I'll have to order spares.
The dealer up here tells me the list on them is $47Cdn, which is a big differerence from the US prices.

Had mine replaced last Saturday. My youngest daughter said she thought my truck was running much quieter and smoother. I have no complaints about the new CPS so far.
Although, now that the recall work is done, I have two spares instead of one. I bought two CPS units awhile back, just in case. I figured I'd replace the old one with a new one after the weather warmed up again and keep a spare in the glove box. Now I have two spares in the glove box.
