Best Shocks for Excursion, 4x4 with 4" lift

Does anybody have any suggestions? I currently have Rancho but they either are worn out or just suck. They came on the vehicle when I bought it (Used) so I have no idea how old they are. I tow a jeep quite often and trailers a little, but want a shock that will keep my Dr. Pepper from going flat before it even gets cold....I hate that!

I put rancho 9000 adjustables on the 03 Ex...

Rancho does suck. I had the RS9000 & I was not impressed at all. I'm running the Donahoe Racing Signature Series shocks and they are way better than the Rancho's. The DR's are basically Bilstein's that have been custom valved to DR specs. You can't go wrong with Fox Shocks either. I see you're in Houston, give Woodlands Performance a call & talk to Sean, he's the owner and been a buddy of mine for about 10 years. They do a lot of high dollar trucks and he can steer you in the right direction.

Thanks a million for the input and I'll give them a ring.
