Ok it's my VIN data

Some one please remind me what I was supposed to have on my truck. I know lurking under my paint I have the original color and the 9". That is all that is still original as far as I know.

F10CR502368

I believe Jan 1964 F100 4x2 with a 292 from San Jose, CA

WB Color Body Trans Axle
114" K 081 F 12

I know that is 114" wheelbase, tan color, standard cab?, 4 speed?, with a 9" axle with 3.89? Some of the codes I can't recall. Thanks.

0? 81 = No 0 trim code listed. First digit is trim. then 81 can be Reg Cab, or CC depending on trim.

F = Warner T-98

12 = 3.89-1 / 3.3M / Ford 9" WBG-F or H (parts list #91)

No "K" paint code found.

Bill thanks for the update. I took a pic of the vin plate and added it to my main gallery. I think it may have been one of those days where the stamping guy was feeling the effects of New Years still. I don't have any side trim or interior trim pieces accept for some polish aluminum strips that go around the door openings. But that doesn't mean a thing though. I think the correct color name of my truck was bengal beige or tan as I like to call it. Check out the link for paint color codes that I just found. http://www.classictruckshop.com/phot....php/photo/105
