I'm guessing the front axle is a Dana 44 w/ 4.09 gears & the rear is a Dana 60 w/ 3.54 gears. That's if both are unmolested. I know these axles were swapped in (8 lugs) & are not the originals. Anyway to verify what the gear ratios are? If these are whats really in it, there is no way the 4x4 will work w/out grenading the t/case.
Transfer case NP 205?
Thanks again for the help.
I also have this listed over in the clutch/axle/tcase/differential forum. But i know alot of guys over here know alot about these things too.
D8TA-ADA = Dana 60 3.54 ratio, open differential - used on 1978/79 F250, excluding crew cabs. Takes 1350 joints.
You can identify the transfer case by looking at it.
