Have seen plenty of threads regarding SCABS and SCREWS. But looking for a reply specifically for my 2004 F150 REGULAR CAB FX4. I'm looking for the computer module that has the keyless entry code. The manual simply says that the 5 digit code is on a label on the module. I've seen threads for the scabs and screws that indicate the module is behind the rear seat. In that I've got a regular cab, I'm at a loss as to where the computer module is located. I've looked all under the dash, but have yet to find the elusive module. Anyone happen to know where the module is located on the regular cab?
i'm not sure about the 150 but on a 250 it's just to the right of the gas pedal inside the truck on the firewall over the hump and the factory number is on the case decale sounds like a call to a good ford dealer for it's true wareabouts.
On my 04 Scab the module was just below the rear window behind the rear seat on the driver side. On the Scab I needed to pop the back of the rear seat off and then peel back the insulation to see it. I do not know if the regular cab would be the same but you can look there also.
I need my code also. But I don't really want to hassle with takeing out the back seat or any other dismantleing (sp?). I'll probably stop by the dealer and get it. On my 03 Expy, I stopped by the dealer and it took him all of about 3 mins to plug in the gismo and give the code to me!
Thanks all for the help. Found it! Right BEHIND the driver's seat, in the b-pillar. It's located towards the bottom of the side panel. Found the code and works as it should.
