Stupid tire questions..?

Well its time for some new tires.. right now I am running 235/75/15. I want to buy the Uniroyal Liberator A/T in a 30x9.50/15.. first question is.. will this tire fit without any rubbing or any other problems? Next does anyone else have this tire and is it any good?.. also how much will this bigger tire size effect my mpg? I appreciate any input!

thanks!

I was running some 31x10.50/15 on my 86 150 on stock rims and only experienced rub at full lock. Other than that, no problems and looked good too.

I agree with AFSOCmech . I ran BFG 31 x 10.5's on my 1984 F-150 and had no problems, other than a full lock turn rub (minor). The tires filled up the wells pretty good too, so you should be good to go with your tire choice

I had an 83 F-150 and I put 31x10.50's on it and I didn't notice any mileage difference between the stock tires.

i have the uniroyals 31x10.5x15 on my 83 f150 and they are decent in my opinion. I take it out in the mud here and there and I havent had any problems yet. as for gas mileage I cant tell you. the p.o. had 33x12.5's on her and they were shot. As for any rubbing I havent noticed any.

well just to let you all know i went ahead and had them put on.. they look a lot nicer.. not sure just yet if and how much my gas mileage will change I'll just have to calculate that myself but I have no rub and they seem pretty decent. Thanks for all of the replies !!!
